Canadian traders cautious of AI in investments, survey finds

Patricia Fletcher, CEO of the RIA, identified the disconnect between traders’ pursuits in RI and their precise data on the topic.

The survey, sponsored by AGF Investments and Desjardins Investments, additionally revealed demographic tendencies in RI curiosity. Youthful traders and females confirmed higher curiosity than older and male respondents, respectively.

But, 70 % of these surveyed admitted to realizing little or nothing about RI, together with 21 % who had by no means heard of it.

Reflecting on the survey, Judy Goldring, president, and head of worldwide distribution at AGF Administration Ltd., and Sébastien Vallée, President and CEO of Desjardins Investments, acknowledged the significance of addressing the issues surrounding AI and RI.
